Jaguars have faith in their RB corps - Fantasy Sports

Maurice Jones-Drew is coming back from major knee surgery. Rashad Jennings is out for the season. It would seem that the Jaguars have a depth problem at running back and that they will look into adding someone to that mix. But head coach Jack Del Rio said Sunday that he likes "the whole group from top to bottom." He also said that while Deji Karim will have to fill the void on the depth chart behind Jones-Drew, others will also be used.
"I think we have depth," Del Rio said. "I think we have productive guys that will step up and play big for us. Deji is one of them. I think you'll see an increased role with Montell (Owens), an increased role with Brock (Bolen). But Deji in particular has been very explosive this preseason. He's got some real quicks, he's got great vision and he's been improved in all facets of his game. And the thing that stands out is the explosive element that he brings." FANTASY ANALYSIS: However, Del Rio also said that MJD will still carry the load. So while more faces may be involved, this is still Jones-Drew's running game. He's a first-round pick in 12-team leagues, but given his touches count over the past 30 games (697) and his knee injury, Karim is a smart handcuff.
